"The Carriage House at Avio", offered by Stefano & Lisa Watson, is vineyard lodging at its best. This completely private, one-room guest cottage, with capacity for two people, is decorated in an upscale authentic western theme. You'll enjoy amenities such as a private full bath, king size bed, fireplace, TV, DVD & CD player, and use of the pool. There is also a seperate private kitchenette with a refrigerator, microwave and toaster for your use.

We've paid attention to every detail to ensure your stay with us will be a memorable one. Custom features abound; from the authentic cowhide headboard and chenille throw on the full-length overstuffed leather sofa, to the burlap walls decorated with authentic spurs/bridles, and an antique saddle from the 1800's. At the end of the day, you'll feel you're truly the master of the estate as you enjoy a complimentary bottle of champagne to toast the sunset's glow on the vineyard.

We spent a week at Avio to celebrate our anniversary. The grounds are lovely and the guest room was luxuriously appointed by a decorator with a great sense of style and a very fine eye for detail. Our hosts, Stefano and Lisa Watson, were very generous. When we arrived, Stefano welcomed us with a tour and a private tasting. They stocked the kitchen cabana with snacks and sodas for us to enjoy throughout the week at no additional cost, and stocked the guest room with a huge assortment of DVDs. They welcomed us to walk the grounds and make use of the pool. We enjoyed our walks on the grounds with their farm dog, Tuxedo, and our encounters with their friendly rescue cats, guinea hens, and peacock. We had a wonderful, restful week.
