Forks & Corks will showcase the wine varieties produced in Amador County with cuisine from some of Sacramento and Amador County’s best restaurants. Other activities include food and wine demonstrations, raffle, and music. Students from American River College’s Culinary program will be the centerpiece of the event.

The Barbera Festival is California’s only Barbera wine tasting event, featuring over 80 wineries from all over California including the Sierra Foothills, Paso Robles, Sonoma County, Napa Valley, Lake County, the Santa Cruz Mountains, Ventura County, Lodi, and the Bay Area. Stroll 3 blocks of closed-off historic Main Street in Jackson and enjoy a variety of sounds, from country rock to jazz. Enter a raffle for a chance to win a Tahoe vacation. Enjoy street performers, and “Art by the Inch,” - a unique way to see artists’ creativity on exquisite murals displayed down the middle of Main St. You choose and buy the part that calls to you! Shops, restaurants and a Beer Garden will be open. Purchase a wine tasting ticket, and sample wines from more than 20 Amador County wineries.

This event is a fundraiser for the Arts Education programs of AmadorArts, a non-profit, public benefit organization for 31 years.

Join us for our annual Independence Day celebration. Our wines may have Italian names, but our party is All-American. We'll be grilling up hot dogs and pairing them with salads. Oh, and plenty of wine, too! Each visitor will also receive a free American flag lapel pin to compliment your wine tasting experience.
